Acceptable Use Policy
What you can and cannot publish using SitegenOS.
Last updated: April 30, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") covers what you may and may not do with SitegenOS-generated sites and the platform itself. Violations may result in site takedown, account suspension, or termination.
Prohibited content
You may not generate, publish, or host content that:
Is illegal
- Promotes or facilitates illegal activity in your or our jurisdiction.
- Infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights (see DMCA Policy).
- Violates export control or sanctions laws.
Is harmful
- Contains malware, phishing attempts, or other malicious code.
- Promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
- Targets violence, hatred, or discrimination against protected groups (race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability).
- Threatens or incites violence against any person or group.
Is sexually exploitative
- Includes sexual content involving minors. Zero tolerance — reports will be forwarded to law enforcement.
- Adult sexual content of any kind. SitegenOS is not the platform for that.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, "revenge porn," or sexually explicit content of real persons without their consent.
Is fraudulent or deceptive
- Misrepresents your identity, business, or services.
- Fakes reviews, testimonials, or credentials. SitegenOS only embeds reviews actually present in the source data — never fabricates ratings or quotes.
- Operates as a phishing site, fake login page, or "official-looking" impersonation of a legitimate brand.
- Promotes Ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes, or other forms of financial fraud.
Is spam
- Generates sites in bulk without genuine business intent.
- Uses SitegenOS to harvest emails, phone numbers, or other contact details.
- Sends unsolicited commercial communications via published contact forms.
Prohibited conduct
You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our AI prompts or template structures.
- Bypass rate limits, anti-abuse measures, or authentication.
- Resell SitegenOS access without our written permission. (Generating sites for clients IS the intended use; reselling raw platform access is not.)
- Use SitegenOS to create competing AI website builders.
- Probe, scan, or test the security of SitegenOS infrastructure without authorization. Responsible disclosure is welcome at
hello@sitegenos.com.
Reporting violations
If you encounter content on a SitegenOS-hosted site that violates this AUP, click the "Report this site" link in the site's footer, or email hello@sitegenos.com with the URL and a brief description.
Enforcement
When we identify or receive a credible report of a violation, we typically:
- Investigate within 24 business hours.
- Warning + 24h to remedy for first-time, low-severity violations (where applicable).
- Site takedown for confirmed violations — site stops resolving publicly.
- Account suspension for repeated violations or first-time severe violations.
- Account termination + permanent block for content involving minors, doxxing, or active fraud.
We log every enforcement action for audit purposes. You may appeal an enforcement decision by emailing hello@sitegenos.com within 30 days.
Jurisdictional differences
Some content is legal in some jurisdictions and illegal in others. We apply the strictest standard: if content is illegal in either ApeTec Ltd's home jurisdiction (UK) or the jurisdiction where the site's audience is primarily located, we treat it as a violation.
Why this matters
Local-business websites are trust artifacts. A plumber's site that hosts spam, a restaurant's site that hosts hate speech, or a salon's site that fakes reviews — each one breaks the trust local businesses depend on. We enforce this AUP because the alternative is a worse internet for everyone.
