This notice explains what information the Wren & Slate Interiors website collects about you, why, who handles it, and the choices you have.

Who is responsible

Wren & Slate Interiors publishes this website and decides how the information collected through it is used. The website was generated with, and is hosted by, SitegenOS (operated by ApeTec Ltd), which stores contact-form submissions and passes them on to Wren & Slate Interiors on its instructions. Wren & Slate Interiors is responsible for how it uses your information and for meeting the legal requirements that apply to it.

What we collect

When you send a message or ask for a quote through the form on this site, we collect what you type, which may include:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• What you are asking about, and any message you write
• Where relevant, a job or project address you choose to give

To tell people from automated abuse, the form also records a one-way hashed version of your IP address and browser identifier alongside your submission. A hash cannot be turned back into the original and is not used to identify you.

Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages record technical details of each request, such as your IP address and browser type, in short-lived logs used to keep the site running and secure. If something on the site breaks, a technical report may be sent to an error-monitoring service so it can be fixed; personal information is removed from those reports before they are sent.

We do not collect anything else about you when you simply read the site.

Why we use it

We use what you send to reply to you, to prepare a quote, and to follow up about what you asked. When you send a message, you receive an email confirming that it arrived. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

Who handles it

SitegenOS (operated by ApeTec Ltd) hosts this website and stores your submission on our behalf. Once this site's hosting is active, each submission is also emailed to us. To do that, it relies on these providers, each of which handles only what its role needs: Vercel (delivering the pages), Supabase (storing the data), Postmark (delivering the emails), Cloudflare (telling people from automated abuse on the form), Google (the embedded map, where a page shows one), Pexels (the photographs and video), and Sentry (error monitoring). Some of these providers operate outside the country you are in.

How long we keep it

We keep contact-form submissions for 12 months, after which they are deleted. We may keep information longer where we need it to meet a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact Wren & Slate Interiors using the contact details shown on this website. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
