Cookie Policy
Last updated: 22 August 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on the Fernhollow Garden Design website.
This is a first-pass template provided with the website. It should be reviewed by a qualified solicitor before you rely on it.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website can store on your device. Some are essential for a site to work. Others are set by third-party services embedded in a page.
Cookies on this site
This website does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and does not set its own tracking cookies.
Where relevant, the following third-party services may be present and may set cookies:
- Embedded maps — if a page shows a map, it is provided by Google Maps and may set third-party cookies to function. Maps only appear on pages that display a location.
- Spam protection — contact forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which is designed to be privacy-friendly and does not set advertising cookies.
We tell you, we do not ask first
This site shows a one-time notice saying that it uses cookies for maps and embedded content. That notice informs you. It does not ask for your consent, and dismissing it changes nothing about what loads. The map is treated as part of the page, so it loads with the page on your first view, before you have read the notice, and there is no click-to-load step in front of it. We would rather say so plainly than describe a consent step that is not there.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set most browsers to refuse them. Google also offers its own privacy controls for the services it provides, including Maps. Blocking third-party cookies may stop an embedded map from displaying, but the rest of the site will continue to work.
